2. Roll call: Commissioner Kinney, Commissioner Christenson, Commissioner Gamradt,
Commissioner Johnston, Commissioner McDaniel, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Slais,
Commissioner Tousignant, Commissioner Williams, Commissioner Morgan, Lt. Garland
3. Approval of agenda
a. Motion: Commissioner Tousignant, Commissioner Christenson

4. Approval of last meeting’s minutes – (Wed 5-4-22, 7pm)

5. Welcome New Members (Commissioner Johnston, Commissioner Gamradt, Commissioner
Williams and Commissioner Noble)
6. Reports from Officers
a. None
7. Public safety data collection/surveys
a. Update from subcommittee (Commissioner Kinney) and discussion
• Discussion of third party for anonymity, wording, and necessity of a few
questions
• Subcommittee discussed public forum option with a paper copy available at
that time
• Next step is for a draft to go to the Chief with a recommendation for a third
party to administer
b. Commissioners Kinney, Slais, McDaniel, Tousignant (Subcommittee members)
8. Connecting with other cities’ PACs and related groups
a. Update from subcommittee (Commissioner Morgan) and discussion
• Commissioner Morgan to draft letters and present to the PAC
b. Commissioners Morgan, Tousignant (Subcommittee members)
• New commissioners to email Lt. Garand if interested in joining subcommittee
9. Discussion of MJRC report on Accountability/POST Board – Tabled until next month
10. Old business
a. Lt Garland was unable to find previous pamphlet for the PAC, will send out example from
the MAC.
b. Bias motivated crimes – 3
• Commissioner Christenson to follow up with HRC on subcommittee
11. New business
a. The Able training that the PAC wrote a letter of support for last year has now been
completed.
b. SLP PD is looking for the PAC to write a letter of support for a federal grant supporting
training for 3 additional officers.
• Subcommittee to draft letter and submit on the PAC’s behalf
• Commissioner Kinney and Commissioner Tousignant (Subcommittee members)
• Motion for subcommittee to submit on PAC’s behalf: Commissioner
Christenson, Commissioner McDaniel
• Motion: Approved
