a. The minutes for October and November 2016 will be on the January 2017 agenda for
approval.
b. Retreat recap. Francie captured notes from the retreat and built work streams into a
template. She passed that around to show who had signed up as leads, co-leads, or
helpers on any given work stream. She asked that anyone not signed up yet to choose
one work stream to lead and one to help on
Francie also generated a template for communicating with Council and for them to
communicate back to the commission. Joe added that we should be clear on the
template as to why we are communicating with Council.
Francie also drafted a project plan template (tactical task list) for leaders(s) to use for
tracking tasks and timelines for completion. Ryan added that person(s) responsible for
any given task should be included so work doesn’t always fall on the shoulders of the
leader(s).
Francie will share all of these documents with the commission to review and comment
on. She also asks that leaders on any given work stream to try completing the project
plan template and bring it to the January meeting.
c. It was agreed that Google docs could be the collaboration tool used by the group going
forward. However, if commissioners have technical difficulties using it, other
commissioners may need to assist so they can use the tool.
d. Francie asked that commissioners staying for the Energy Plan kick event at 7pm to
break up so that at least one commissioner would be at each table to offer their expertise
and insight to the group of volunteers.
4. The meeting was adjourned at 6:56 p.m.
