A petition in writing signed by a majority of all of the owners of all property abutting upon both sides of the public storm sewer, water main, drainage and utility easements proposed to be vacated has been duly filed. The notice of said petition has been published in the St. Louis Park Sailor on May 7, 2015 and the City Council has conducted a public hearing upon said petition and has determined that the storm sewer, water main, drainage and utility easements are not needed for public purposes, and that it is in the best interest of the public that said easements be vacated. Section 2. The following described public storm sewer, water main, drainage and utility easements as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park, are vacated: PARCEL 1: Lot 1, Block 1, Novartis Addition, except that part thereof embraced within the plat of Ridge Addition, also except that part of the most northwesterly 80 feet of said Lot 1 lying southwesterly of the southerly right of way line of the Burlington Northern Inc. Railroad, Hennepin County, Minnesota. (Torrens Property, Certificate of Title No. 1057969) PARCEL 2: That part of Lot 1, Block 1, Novartis Addition, embraced within the plat of Ridge Addition; and that part of the most northwesterly 80 feet of said Lot 1, lying southwesterly of the southerly right of way line of the Burlington Northern Inc. Railroad, Hennepin County, Minnesota. (Abstract property) Section 3. The City Clerk is instructed to record certified copies of this ordinance in the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles as the case may be. Sec.4. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen days after its publication.
