HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-064 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 2021/06/21Resolution No. 21-064 Approving distribution of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet in the Environmental Quality Board Monitor and to required agencies for review Whereas, Sherman Development Associates, LLC (“Proposer”) proposes to redevelop approximately seven acres in St. Louis Park to create 401 new residential units and up to 32,000 square feet of ground floor commercial at the Beltline Station Development; and Whereas, the site is located in the southeast quadrant of CSAH 25 and Beltline Blvd.; and Whereas, the project crosses the threshold of a mandatory EAW by having a total of more than 375 attached units per Minn. Rules 4410.4300, subpart 19.C Residential Developm ent and Minn. Rules 4410.4300, subpart 32 Mixed residential and industrial-commercial projects; and Whereas, the City of St. Louis Park is the Responsible Governmental Units (“RGU”); and Whereas, the EAW was prepared by Kimley-Horn on behalf of the Proposer, who submitted completed data portions of the EAW to the City of St. Louis Park consistent with Minn. Rules Part 4410.1400; and Whereas, the EAW was prepared using the form approved by the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board for EAWs in accordance with Minn. Rules 4410.1300. Now therefore be it resolved that the city council does hereby approve the distribution of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet in the Environmental Quality Board Monitor and to required agencies for review in accordance with Minn.
