HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-056 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 2020/03/02Resolution No. 20-056 Authorize installation of yield controls at Brunswick Avenue and Hamilton Avenue Whereas, in Traffic Study 713, staff recommended to re-write many traffic Resolutions for better record keeping; and, Whereas, Resolution 1445 governed the placement of traffic controls on a temporary basis at seven locations including yield signs at the intersection of Brunswick Avenue and Hamilton Avenue; and, Whereas, yield signs are currently installed at the east and west approaches of the intersection of Brunswick Avenue and Hamilton Street; and, Whereas, the intent of this resolution is to reflect existing traffic control conditions; and, Whereas, St. Louis Park is committed to providing a variety of options for people to make their way around the city comfortably, safely, and reliably. Now therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that Resolution 1445 be rescinded. It is further resolved by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that the engineering director is hereby authorized to: 1. Install yield signs at the east and west approaches of the intersection of Brunswick Avenue and Hamilton Avenue. Reviewed for administration: Adopted by the City Council March 2, 2020 Thomas K.
