Authorize installation of stop controls at
Sunset Boulevard and Joppa Avenue
Whereas, in Traffic Study 713, staff recommended to re-write Resolution 93-16 for better
record keeping; and,
Whereas, Resolution 93-16 governed the placement of stop signs at the intersection of
Sunset Boulevard and Joppa Avenue; and,
Whereas, the intent of this resolution is to reflect existing traffic control conditions; and,
Whereas, St. Louis Park is committed to providing a variety of options f or people to make
their way around the city comfortably, safely, and reliably.
Now therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota,
that Resolution 93-16 be rescinded.
It is further resolved by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that the
engineering director is hereby authorized to:
1. Install stop signs at all approaches of the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Joppa
Avenue.
