HomeMy WebLinkAbout2568-19 - ADMIN Ordinance - City Council - 2019/09/03Ordinance No. 2568-19 An ordinance vacating portions of utility easements 5051 Highway 7 The City of St. Louis Park does ordain: Section 1. The petition to vacate the utility easements was initiated by Peter McDaniel on behalf of the property owner, Extra Space Props Two LLC. The notice of said petition has been published in the St. Louis Park Sailor on August 8, 2019 and the city council has conducted a public hearing upon said petition and has determined that the easement is not needed for public purposes, and that it is for the best interest of the public that said easements be vacated. Section 2. The following described easement is as now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits of the City of St. Louis Park and shown in attachment A, are vacated: That part of the 30 foot wide Utility Easement over, under and across part of Lot 1, Block 1 of Dalquist Industrial Park, according to the recorded plat thereof, on file in the Office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence N00-20-03E, assumed bearing, along the west line of said Lot 1, 177.02 feet to the southwest corner of said easement; thence S89-25-04E, along the south line of said easement, 190.00 feet; thence N00-20-03E, 30.00 feet to the north line of said easement; thence N89-25-04W, along said north line, 190.00 feet to the west line of said Lot 1; thence S00-20-03W, along said west line, 30.00 feet to the point of beginning. Section 3. The city clerk is instructed to record certified copies of this ordinance in the Office of the Hennepin County Register of Deeds or Registrar of Titles as the case may be. Section 4.
