ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 12
OF THE ST. LOUIS
PARK CITY CODE
ENVIRONMENT AND
PUBLIC HEALTH
This ordinance amends Chapter
12 (Environment and Public Health)
for the City of St. Louis Park, pri-
marily Article VI, Zero Waste Pack-
aging. This amendment updates
definitions, sets expectations for
some types of packaging, removes
the exclusion for utensils and
straws, clarifies collection require-
ments for food trucks and front-of-
house containers at restaurants,
and change the penalty process.
The amended ordinance takes
effect July 12, 2019, with the ex-
ception of Sections 12-203 (b)(1)
and (b)(2) which take effect January
1, 2020, for food trucks, and July
1, 2020, for all other food establish-
ments, and Sections 12-203 (c)(1)
and (c)(2) which take effect January
1, 2020, for all food establishments.
A printed copy of the entire ordi-
nance is available for inspection by
any person during the City Clerk's
regular office hours.
