LOUIS PARK, MINNESOTA December 19, 2005 1. Call to Order President Santa called the meeting to order at 7 :20 pm. 2. Roll Call. Commissioners present: Sue Santa, Jim Brimeyer, John Basill, Jeff Jacobs, Phil Finkelstein, and Paul Omodt. Commissioner Susan Sanger was absent. Staff present: City Manager (Mr. Harmening) and Finance Director (Ms. McGann). 3. Approval of Minutes 3a. Economic Authority Minutes of November 21, 2005 Councilmember Omodt noted the attendance should show Jim Brimeyer, not Sally Velick. It was motioned by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Finkelstein to accept the November 21, 2005 minutes as amended. The motion passed 6-0. 3b. Economic Authority Minutes of December 5, 2005 It was motioned by Commissioner Omodt, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to accept the December 5, 2005 minutes as presented. The motion passed 6-0. 4. Approval of Agenda 5. Reports Sa. Motion to accept and file vendor claim report It was motioned by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Omodt to accept the vendor claims for filing. The motion passed 6-0. 6. Old Business EDA M eeting M inutes -2- Decem ber 19, 2005 7. New Business 7a. 2006 Budget, 2005 Revised Budget and HRA Levy EDA Resolution No. 05-17 Ms. McGann presented the staff report. It was motioned by Commissioner Finkelstein, seconded by Commissioner Brimeyer, to approve the 2006 budget and the 2005 revised budget. The motion passed 6-0. It was motioned by Commissioner Finkelstein, seconded by Commissioner Brimeyer, to adopt EDA Resolution No. 05-17 authorizing the levy of a special benefit levy pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 469.033, subdivision 6 and approval of a budget for fiscal year 2006. The motion passed 6-0. 8. Communications Councilmember Finkelstein recognized Chair Santa for her years of service as President of the EDA and helping St. Louis Park to be one of the leading first ring suburbs in the State and Country. 9. Adjournment It was motioned by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Omodt to adjourn. The motion passed 6-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m. «4 -)ttoe L.. Secretary President
