RESOLUTION NO. 15-150
RESOLUTION APPROVING 2016 BUDGET
AND SERVICE CHARGES FOR
SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 6
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2374-09, the City Council created Special
Service Distnct No. 6 (the "Distnct") The specific properties located within the District are
identified on Attachment "A" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 09-078, the City Council is authonzed to
impose service charges within the District on a multi-year basis through and including the year
2019 for taxes payable in said year; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.04 of Resolution No 09-078, the maximum budget to
be imposed in any year will be subject to adjustment calculations based on Consumer Pnce
Index (CPI) data for the Minneapolis/St Paul Metropolitan Area; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3 of Resolution No. 09-078, the Service Charges shall
be payable and collected at the same time and in the same manner as provided for payment and
collection of ad valorem taxes, and
WHEREAS, the City is required by Statute to certify assessments to the County by
December 1, 2015
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St Louis
Park as follows.
1. The 2016 Budget for Special Service Distnct No. 6 of $25,155 is hereby approved
as recommended by the Special Service District No. 6 Property Owners.
2 The authorized 2015 Service Charge for Special Service Distnct No 6 is $17,155
in t e ounts and against the properties specified on Attachment "A" attached to this

used for the initial service charge collection
The proposed 2016 budget is $25,155 but the service charge is only $17,155
because $8,000 was paid from reserves to lower the fund balance
