HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-152 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 2012/10/15• RESOLUTION NO. 12-152 RESOLUTION APPROVING 2013 BUDGET AND PROPERTY OWNER SERVICE CHARGES FOR SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 6 WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No 2374-09, the City Council created Special Service District No 6 (the "District"). The specific properties located within the District are identified on Attachment "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No 09-078, the City Council is authorized to impose service charges within the District on a multi-year basis through and including the year 2019 for taxes payable m said year; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2 04 of Resolution No. 09-078, the maximum budget to be imposed in any year will be subject to adjustment calculations based on Consumer Pnce Index (CPI) data for the Minneapolis/St Paul Metropolitan Area, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3 of Resolution No. 09-078, the Service Charges shall be payable and collected at the same time and in the same manner as provided for payment and collection of ad valorem taxes; and WHEREAS, the City is required by Statute to certify assessments to the County by November 21, 2012. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St Louis Park as follows 1. The 2013 Budget for Special Service District No. 6 of $25,155 is hereby approved as recommended by the Special Service District No. 6 Advisory Board 2.
