HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-064 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 2009/06/21RESOLUTION NO. 10-064 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES AND APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTION OF 2010 WHEREAS, the State Primary and General Election will be held on August 10, 2010 and November 2, 2010 at the following precinct polling locations. Ward 1 Precinct 1 — Ward 1 Precinct 2 — Ward 1 Precinct 3 — Ward 1 Precinct 4 — Ward 1 Precinct 5 — Ward 2 Precinct 6 — Ward 2 Precinct Ward 2 Precinct Ward 2 Precinct Ward 3 Precinct Ward 3 Precinct Ward 3 Precinct Ward 3 Precinct Ward 4 Precinct Ward 4 Precinct Ward 4 Precinct Ward 4 Precinct Benilde/St. Margaret's High School, 2501 State Hwy 100 S Peter Hobart Elementary Center, 6500 W. 26" Street Peter Hobart Elementary Center, 6500 W. 26" Street Central Community Center, 6300 Walker Street St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. 7 — St. Louis Park Recreation Center, 3700 Monterey Drive 8 — Susan Lindgren Intermediate Center, 4801 W 415` Street 9 — Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 3801 Wooddale Ave S 10 — Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8115 State Hwy No 7 11 — St Louis Park Senior High School, 6425 W. 33`d Street 12 — Lenox Community Center, 6715 Minnetonka Blvd. 13 — Aquila Elementary Center, 8500 W. 315` Street 14 — Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road 15 — Peace Presbyterian Church, 7624 Cedar Lake Road 16 — St. Louis Park Junior High School, 2025 Texas Ave S 17 — Peace Presbyterian Church, 7624 Cedar Lake Road WHEREAS, pursuant to MN Statute 206.58, the City of St. Louis Park authorizes the use of the certified ES&S Model 100 Optical Scan Precinct Voting Equipment, ES&S AutoMARK Assisted Voting Technology Equipment, and the ES&S Central Counter Model 650 for the tabulation of all absentee ballots; and WHEREAS, as authorized by MN Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, election judges for precincts shall be appointed by the governing body of the municipality no later than 25 days before each election; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the St. Louis Park City Council that the following individuals named on Exhibit A and on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby appointed to serve as election judges, absentee ballot board judges, or alternate judges for the 2010 Primary and General Election; and Resolution No. 10-064 -2- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the St. Louis Park City Council also appoints other individuals and all members appointed to the Hennepin County Absentee Ballot Board as authorized under Minn. Stat. 204B.21, subd. 2 under direction of the Election Manager to serve as members of the St. Louis Park Absentee Ballot Board; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is with this, authorized to make any stitutions or additions as deemed necessary. for Administration Adopted by the City Council June 21, 2009 Attest: City Clerk Resolution No. 10-064 -3- Resolution No. 10-064 Ward 1 1-1.
