RESOLUTION NO. 09-007
RESOLUTION APPOINTING SUSAN SANGER
TO THE OFFICE OF MAYOR PRO -TEM
FOR THE YEAR 2009
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute Section 412.121 requires cities to choose each year an
acting Mayor from the Council members; and
WHEREAS, the acting Mayor shall perform the duties of Mayor during the disability or
absence of the Mayor from the City or, in case of vacancy in the office of Mayor until a successor has
been appointed and qualifies; and
WHEREAS, the Council has carefully reviewed the qualifications of all Council members
and has considered the desires of the residents and the welfare of the City as a whole,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Louis Park City Council that Susan
Sanger is hereby appointed Mayor Pro -Tem of the City of St. Louis Park and shall serve in that
capacity until a duly elected successor assumes the office at the first regular City Council meeting in
