RESOLUTION NO. 9 117
Resolution Authorizing Execution of the Amendments
to Contracts No. 3099 and No. 4202 with Hennepin County
for New Traffic Signal Systems at W. 38th Street /
Monterey Drive at Excelsior Boulevard
and at CSAH 25 (Hwy. #7) and Ottawa Avenue.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a report from the City Engineer
related to the New Traffic Signal Systems at W 38th Street / Monterey Dnve at Excelsior Boulevard
and at CSAH 25 (Hwy #7) and Ottawa Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to construct the New Traffic Signal Systems at W. 38th Street /
Monterey Drive at Excelsior Boulevard and at CSAH 25 (Hwy. #7) and Ottawa Avenue; and
WHEREAS, The City and Hennepin County have agreed that the City will be responsible for the
construction of the improvement, and that each party will be responsible for certain operation and maintenance
activities for the New Traffic Signal Systems at W 38th Street / Monterey Drive at Excelsior Boulevard
and at CSAH 25 (Hwy. #7) and Ottawa Avenue upon completion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park,
Minnesota, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute Amendment No. 1
Contracts No. 3099 and No. 4202 with Hennepin County providing for New Traffic Signal Systems at W.
th Street / Monterey Drive at Excelsior Boulevard and at CSAH 25 (Hwy. #7) and Ottawa Avenue by the City
and the division of costs and responsibilities in the operation and maintenance of the traffic signal system by the
County and City
