RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT,
ESTABLISHING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 96-14,
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 96-14,
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. 96-14
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St Louis Park has received a report from the City
Engineer related to the reroofing of the water treatment plant and pumphouses located at 2936 Idaho
Avenue, Bronx Park
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park,
Minnesota, that:
1. The City Engineer's Report regarding the reroofing of the water treatment plant and pumphouses
located at 2936 Idaho Avenue, Bronx Park.
2. The proposed project, designated as Project No. 96-14 is hereby established.
3. Project No. 96-14 is hereby ordered.
4. The plans and specifications for the making of the improvement as prepared under the direction of
the Director of Public Works are approved.
5. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted at least two weeks in the official newspaper
and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making of said improvement
under said approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall appear not less than twenty
one (21) days prior to the date and time bids will be received by the City Clerk, and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five (5) percent of the amount
of the bid.
6. The bids shall be tabulated by the Director of Public Works who shall report his tabulation and
recommendation to the City Council.
