RESOLUTION NO. 95-72
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
CONTRACT WITH FAIRCON SERVICE FOR THE UPGRADE OF THE AIR HANDLING
SYSTEM IN CITY HALL UNDER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. MB -90-21
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project
No. MB -90-21, bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the City Manager on
May 5, 1995. Said bids were as follows:
Bidder Bid Amount
Faircon Service $47,975.00
WHEREAS, Faircon Service submitted the lowest bid for the upgrade of the
air handling system in City Hall; and
WHEREAS, it appears Faircon Service is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis
Park, Minnesota that:
1. Faircon Service is approved as the lowest responsible bidder.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract in the amount of $47,975.00 with Faircon Service in the
name of the City of St. Louis Park, for Improvement Project No. MB -90-21
according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the Director of Public Works.
3. City staff is hereby authorized and directed to return to all plan
holders their deposits in accordance with the bid documents, except the
deposit of the successful bidder until a contract has been executed.
