RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT,
ESTABLISHING PROJECT NO. MB -92-06,
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. MB -92-06, APPROVING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZINGADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR IMPROVEMENT NO. MB -92-06
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a
report from the City Engineer related to the reconditioning of the fuel
storage and dispensing system serving the Municipal Service Center under
Project No. MB -92-06.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park, Minnesota, that:
1. The City Engineer's Report regarding the completion of the storage
and serving the Municipal Service Center under Project No. MB -92-
06 is hereby accepted.
2. The proposed project, designated as Project No. MB -92-06 is hereby
established.
3. Project No. MB -92-06 is hereby ordered.
4. The plans and specifications for the removal and replacement of the
existing Kardgard 3000E automated fuel system as prepared under the
direction of the Director of Public Works are approved.
5. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for
the making of the improvement under the approved plans and
specifications. Said advertisement shall be published as required by
law, shall specify the work to be done, and shall specify the date and
time at which bids will be opened by the City Clerk and City Manager in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall. No bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the
City for not less than five (5) percent of the amount of such bid.
6. Bids shall be tabulated by the Director of Public Works who shall report
his tabulation and recommendation to the City Council.
