RESOLUTION APPROVING
1994-1998 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the 1994-1998 Capital Improvement Program was prepared and
takes into account the implementation of policies and programs previously
established by the Council, the need for certain projects, the appropriate
sequence of construction of projects in relationship to other projects, and
the capital expenditures necessary to carry on a balanced program, and
WHEREAS, the 1994-1998 Capital Improvement Program allows the City to
establish projects in accordance with predetermined priorities and helps
stabilize tax rates as well as revealing the source and extend of funds needed
in future years, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously prepared Capital Improvement
Programs which were annually reviewed, and
WHEREAS, scheduling of Capital Improvement Program projects allows the
public to become aware of municipal needs and provides a mechanism for
coordination of projects with one another.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park, Minnesota, hereby adopts the 1994-1998 Capital Improvement
Program.
