LOUIS PARK CITY COUNCIL APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A PREMISES PERMIT FOR THE CONDUCT OF LAWFUL GAMBLING WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 349 and St. Louis Park Ordinance Section 13-1600 et seq, provide for lawful gambling licensing by the State Gambling Control Board ("Board"); and WHEREAS, a licensed organization may not conduct lawful gambling at any site unless it has first obtained from the Board a premises permit for the site; and WHEREAS, the Board may not issue or renew a premises permit unless the organization submits a resolution from the City Council approving the premises permit; said resolution shall have been adopted within 60 days of the date the application was received by the City Clerk; and E IT RESOLVED that St. Louis Park Ordinance Section 13-1600 et seq, shall not be construed to require the City to undertake any responsibility for enforcing compliance with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 349 other than those provisions related to the issuance of premises permits as required in MSA Section 349.213; therefore, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the St. Louis Park City Council that the applicant listed below meets the criteria necessary to receive a premises permit and the application is hereby approved: Academy of Family Mediators, 1500 Hwy 100 S, St. Louis Park, MN 55416 (Name and Address of Organization) Classic Cafe & Bar, 4700 Excelsior Blvd, St. Louis Park, MN 55416 (Name and Address of Site Where Premises Permit Sought) Atte t: Adopted by the City Council May 23, 1994 City Cler /s/ Bever Flanagan Revi -• for administration: Manager /s/ BF1/16/91 Approved as to form and execution: 4,4 S W. Pace Meyer 1 RESOLUTION NO. 94-63 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RECEIPT OF BIDS FOR UPGRADING OF FIRE DEPARTMENT COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a report from the Fire Chief related to the upgrading of the St. Louis Park Fire Department communications system. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that: 1. Authorizing staff to prepare specifications and accept bids for the upgrading of the St. Louis Park Fire Department communication system.
