HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-57 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1994/05/23RESOLUTION NO. 94-57 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT OF APEX ADDITION WITH VARIANCES BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Apex Realty Partnership (SPS Companies, Inc.) owners and subdividers of the land proposed to be platted as Apex Addition have submitted an application for approval of preliminary plat with variances of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed preliminary plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park, except with respect to the setbacks of the warehouse building on the westerly portion of the site. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: Exhibit A -Legal Description Conclusion The proposed preliminary plat of Apex Addition with variances is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. That another copy of the final grading and utility plan be submitted prior to City Council consideration of the final plat. 2. That retained utility easements be rededicated over West 36th Street and Brunswick Avenue right-of-way that was vacated. 3. That the plat is acceptable to Minnesota Department of Transportation and utility companies. 4. That variances are hereby granted to permit a rear yard setback of 15 feet instead of the required 20 feet and a side yard setback along the westerly 181.02 feet of the interior side lot line of 25 feet instead of the required 30 feet.
