RESOLUTION 94-29
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF Or
OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 49 LABOR AGREEMENT
AND
ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS
FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1994
WHEREAS, it is the desire of both the City and the International
Association of Operating Engineers Local No. 49 to enter into a
Collective Bargaining Agreement for 1994, and
WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park
Ordinance Code, the City Council has established the "Position
Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the
City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota", and
WHEREAS Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the
Position and Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and
revised by the Council; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute
a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the
I.A.O.E. Local 49, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary structure for Maintenance
I, Maintenance II, Maintenance III and Maintenance IV, as shown
in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of
St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as follows:

*Maintenance I PW1
(1) 0-12 months $11.68
(2) 13-24 months $13.15
(3) 25+ months $14.62
Maintenance II PW2 $14.90
Maintenance III PW3 $15.23
Maintenance IV PW4 $15.69
* NOTE: Increases are not automatic and will depend on job
performance and ability to learn and grow in the position.
Requirements may vary with departmental needs.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City will contribute up to
$345.00 per month towards group health and life insurance
including dependent coverage for calendar year 1994.
