HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-197 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1994/12/19RESOLUTION 94-197 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL #49 LABOR AGREEMENT A. AND ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND EMPLOYER BENEFIT CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING 1995 AND ENDING 1996 WHEREAS, it is the desire of both the City and the International Association of Operating Engineers Local No. 49 to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement for 1995/1996, and WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, the City Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota", and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and revised by the Council, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the I. U.O. E. Local 49, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary structure for Maintenance I, Maintenance II, Maintenance III and Maintenance IV, as shown in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as follows: Position Range 1995 1996 * Maintenance I PW1 (1) 0-12 months 12.03 12.42 (2) 13-24 months 13.54 13.98 (3) 25+ months 15.06 15.55 Maintenance II PW2 15.35 15.85 Maintenance III PW3 15.69 16.20 Maintenance IV PW4 16.16 16.69 * NOTE: Increases are not automatic and will depend on job performance and ability to learn and grow in the position.
