RESOLUTION NO.
94-17
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE REMODELING OF FIRST FLOOR OF CITY HALL,
AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR AND RECEIPT OF BIDS, AND ENTER
INTO CONTRACTS FOR PLUMBING, HEATING, ELECTRICAL, AND MECHANICAL
WORK AND OTHERS AS NECESSARY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a
report from the City Engineer related to the remodeling of first floor as
specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park, Minnesota, that:
1. The City Council being fully advised of the pertinent facts, the
improvement is ordered to be constructed in accordance with the
description in this report.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted at least two weeks
in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids for the making of said improvement under said
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall appear not
less than twenty one (21) days prior to the date for receipt of bids,
and specify the work to be done, state the date and time bids will be
received by the City Clerk, and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for
five (5) percent of the amount of the bid.
3. Authorizes execution of contracts for plumbing, heating, electrical,
mechanical work and others as necessary to complete the remodeling.
