LOUIS PARK AND THE LAW ENFORCEMENT EMPLOYEES' UNION LOCAL 320 AND ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE YEARS ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1994 AND DECEMBER 31, 1995 WHEREAS, It is the desire of both the City and the Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees' Union, Local 320 to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement for years 1993 and 1994, and WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, the City Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota", and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and revised by the Council; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees' Union, Local 320, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary structure for Police Patrol Officer and Investigator as shown in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as follows: SALARY TABLE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1994 Range Patrol Officer Investigator Steps Bi -Weekly Bi -Weekly A (Start) $1,069.45 $1,138.72 B (After 6 mo) $1,195.03 $1,264.86 C (After 12 mo) D E (After 24 mo) (After 36 mo) $1,447.34 $1,572.94 $1,516.04 $1,642.19 $1,321.20 $1,390.45 SALARY TABLE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1995 Range, Patrol Officer Investigator Steps Bi -Weekly Bi -Weekly A (Start) ' $1,101.53 $1,172.88 B (After 6 mo) $1,230.88 $1,302.81 C (After 12 mo) D E (After 24 mo) (After 36 mo) $1,490.76 $1,620.13 $1,561.52 $1,691.46 $1,360.84 $1,432.16 This wage schedule constitutes basic wages (less performance pay or out -of -classification pay) which shall not be compared to other comparable Police Departments' wages which include longevity pay. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City will contribute up to $345.00 per month towards group health and life insurance including dependent coverage for calendar year 1994. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall contribute two hundred ninety five dollars ($295.00) per month per EMPLOYEE for EMPLOYER provided group insurance programs in 1995. EMPLOYEES may select from a list of options offered by the EMPLOYER. EMPLOYEES selecting and receiving the EMPLOYER option of family medical insurance shall receive an additional fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per month contribution by the EMPLOYER.
