HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-81 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1993/06/21r L RESOLUTION NO. 93-81 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. 3024; PURCHASE OF MISCELLANEOUS OFFICE FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE STATION WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for improvement/Contract No. 3024, bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the City Manager on June 16, 1993. WHEREAS, three bids were submitted for this project with Pink Companies and General Office Products submitting low bids on one or more of the items, WHEREAS, Pink Companies submitted low bids totaling $1,877.59 and General Office Products submitted low bids totaling $15,374.34, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota that: 1. Pink Companies and General Office Products are approved as the lowest responsible bidders. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to purchase furniture and equipment in the amount of $1,877.59 from Pink Companies and $15,374.34 from General Office Products in the name of the City of St. Louis Park, for Contract No. 3024 according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the Director of Public Works.
