HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-72 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1993/06/21RESOLUTION NO. 93-72 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT OF TOWER PLACE BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. Park Nicollet Medical Center Holdings and St. Louis Park Economic Development Authority, owner and subdivider of the land proposed to be platted as Tower Place has submitted an application for approval of preliminary plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed preliminary plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: See Attached Exhibit A - Legal Description Conclusion 1. The proposed preliminary plat of Tower Place is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being m accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: A. The final plat must show all necessary easements which are required to accommodate site utilities and drainage facilities. B. The final plat must provide for additional right-of-way along the north side of Excelsior Boulevard between proposed Park Nicollet Boulevard and Park Center to accommodate median widening, a future traffic lane and/or bus pull-out. C. A final grading, drainage and utility plan with supporting calculations must be provided for the entire site and found acceptable by staff prior to final plat approval. D. Final plat approval is contingent upon the vacation of 39th Street and that portion of Park Center Boulevard included in the plat. E. The applicants and benefited parties shall bear the cost of relocating utilities which will be assessed as part of the cost of infrastructure except for the water lines running from the existing water tower.
