RESOLUTION NO. 93-10
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT,
ESTABLISHING PROJECT NO. 90-29, ORDERING PROJECT NO. 90-29,
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING RECEIPT
OF BIDS FOR PROJECT NO. 90-29, WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION ALONG THE EAST
SIDE OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 169 FROM W. 22ND STREET NORTH APPROXIMATELY 1200 FEET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a report
from the City Engineer related to the construction of watermain construction along
the east side of Trunk Highway 169 from W. 22nd Street north approximately 1200
feet.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park that: '-
1. The City Engineer's Report regarding proposed watermain construction and
improvements related thereto under Project No. 90-29 is hereby accepted.
2. The proposed project, designated as Project No. 90-29 is hereby established.
3. The City Council being fully advised of the pertinent facts, the
improvement is ordered to be constructed in accordance with the
description in the City Engineer's Report.
4. The plans and specifications for the improvement are hereby approved.
5. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted at least two weeks
in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin and
advertisement for bids for the making of said improvement under said
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall appear not
less than twenty one (21) days prior to the date for receipt of bids,
and specify the work to be done, state the date and times bids will be
received by the City Clerk, and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for
five (5) percent of the amount of the bid.
