RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ALONG
DAKOTA AND COLORADO AVENUES NORTH OF EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD
TRAFFIC STUDY NO. 460
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park,
Minnesota, that a traffic analysis having been completed, the Director of
Public Works is hereby authorized to install the following controls:
1. "No Parking" restriction along Dakota Avenue at 3998.
2. "Permit Parking Only 7 A.M. - 4 P.M., Monday through Friday" at
the following locations:
West side of Dakota Avenue - from the north property line of
3998 Dakota Avenue to the north
property line of 3974 Dakota -Avenue
East side of Dakota Avenue - from 60 feet north of Excelsior
Boulevard to the north property
line of 3987 Dakota Avenue
North side of Colorado Avenue - from Dakota Avenue to the
northeasterly property line of
3988 Colorado Avenue
South side of Colorado Avenue - from Dakota Avenue to the
northeasterly property line of
3993 Colorado Avenue
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that parking shall not be permitted in the area
restricted by permit parking unless the vehicle prominently displays a City
issued parking permit. Emergency vehicles, governmental vehicles and
commercial vehicles parked at curbside while work is conducted are exempt from
the permit parking restrictions.
