HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-8 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1992/01/21RESOLUTION 92_8 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 49 LABOR AGREEMENT AND ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE YEARS ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1992 AND DECEMBER 31, 1993 WHEREAS, It is the desire of both the City and the International Association of Operating Engineers Local No. 49 to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement for years 1992 and 1993, and WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, the City Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota", and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and revised by the Council; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Mayor and City Manager"are hereby authorized to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the I.A.O.E. Local 49, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary structure for Maintenance I, Maintenance II, Maintenance III and Maintenance IV, as shown in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as follows:__ Position Range 1992 1993 Hourly Rate * Maintenance I PW1 (1) 0-12 months $11.13 $11.46 (2) 13-24 months $12.52 $12.90 (3) 25+ months $13.92 $14.34 Maintenance II PW2 $14.18 $14.61 Maintenance III PW3 '$14.50 $14.94 Maintenance IV PW4 $14.94 $15.39 * NOTE: Increases are not automatic and will depend on job performance and ability to learn and grow in the position. Requirements may vary with departmental needs. Resolution - Local 49 January 21, 1992 - pg. 2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City will contribute up to $300.00 per month towards group health and life insurance including dependent coverage for calendar year 1992. The City will contribute $330.00 per month for group health and life insurance including dependent covgerage for calendar year 1993.
