HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-62 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1992/05/04RESOLUTION NO. 92-62 RESOLUTION ORDERING PROJECT 90-72, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING RECEIPT OF BIDS, FOR A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT TEXAS AVENUE AND CEDAR LAKE ROAD WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a report from the City Engineer related to the installation of a temporary traffic signal system at the Texas Avenue/Cedar Lake Road intersection under City Project No. 90-72. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that: 1. The City Council being fully advised of the pertinent facts, the improvement is ordered to be constructed in accordance with the description in the City Engineer's Report. 2. The plans and specifications for the improvement are hereby approved. 3. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted at least two weeks in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin and advertisement for bids for the making of said improvement under said approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall appear not less than twenty one (21) days prior to the date for receipt of bids, and specify the work to be done, state the date and times bids will be received by the City Clerk, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. 4. The City Engineer is authorized to adertise for the receipt of bids for Project. No. 90-72.
