HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-58 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1992/05/04RESOLUTION NO. 92-58 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING RECEIPT OF BIDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF LOUISIANA AVENUE AND RESTRICTING PARKING ALONG LOUISIANA AVENUE EXCEPT ON THE WEST SIDE OF LOUISIANA AVENUE FROM A POINT 300 FEET NORTH OF CEDAR LAKE ROAD TO A POINT 900 FEET NORTH OF CEDAR LAKE ROAD WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a report from the City Engineer related to the reconstruction of Louisiana Avenue from Cedar Lake Road to I-394 under City Project No. 91-11, S.A.P. 163-276-26. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that: 1. The City Council being fully advised of the pertinent facts, hereby approves the plans and specifications and authorizes receipt of bids for the reconstruction of Louisiana Avenue from Cedar Lake Road to I-394 under City Project No. 91-11, S.A.P. 163-276-26. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted at least two weeks in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making of said improvement under said approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall appear not less than twenty one (21) days prior to the date for receipt of bids, and specify the work to be done, state the date and time bids will be received by the City Clerk, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five (5) percent of the amount of the bid. 3. On -street parking shall be prohibited along both sides of Louisiana Avenue from Cedar Lake Road to I-394 except on the west side of Louisiana Avenue from a point 300 feet north of Cedar Lake Road to a point 900 feet north of Cedar Lake Road.
