RESOLUTION NO.
92-40
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF THREE
EASEMENTS LOCATED AT W. 36TH STREET AND TEXAS
AVENUE FROM MINNESOTA TEACHERS REALTY CORPORATION
AND KNOLLWOOD COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City Council of St. Louis Park has authorized and directed the
City Manager to negotiate with the owners of property for the purchase of a
pedestrian way, utility and street easements, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such negotiations, Minnesota Teachers Realty Corporation
and Knollwood Company have indicated their desire to sell said easement for an
amount of $$20,658.50 for perpetual easements for pedestrian way,street and
utility purposes,and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Louis Park that the
City of St. Louis Park purchase the following described easements in Hennepin
County,
see Exhibit A
Mayor and City Manager, are hereby authorized to execute any and all
instruments necessary to complete the purchase of said easement, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized and directed to pay $20,658.50 from the Special
Assessment Construction Fund to Minnesota Teachers Realty Corporation and
Knollwood Company upon delivery of the recordable easement documents together
with an opinion by the City Attorney of the City of St. Louis Park, approving
the transfer documents.
