HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-148 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1992/09/21RESOLUTION NO. 92-148 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 92-31 EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE-EMPTION SYSTEMS "A" AND "B" WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project No. 92-31, bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the Director of Public Works on September 2, 1992. Said bids were as follows: Bidder Bid Amount Killmer Electric Company, Inc. $28,628.00 Ridgedale Electric, Inc. 34,000.00 Engineer's Estimate $31,000.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Killmer Electric Company, Inc. of Maple Grove, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder. Louis NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Park, Minnesota that: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract in the amount of $28,628.00 with Killmer Electric Company, Inc. of Maple Grove, Minnesota, in the name of the City of St. Louis Park, for Improvement Project No. 92-31 according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return the bid deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder upon execution of a contract.
