HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-135 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1992/09/08RESOLUTION NO. 92-135 RESOLUTION REQUESTING MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AUTHORIZATION TO APPROPRIATE MUNICIPAL STATE AID FUNDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE-EMPTION ON THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEAT TEXAS NAVENUEA(PROJECTRN0.T92A3OjA AVENUE AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a report from the City Engineer related to the installation of Emergency Vehicle Pre-Emption on the traffic signal systems on Minnetonka Boulevard at Dakota Avenue and at Texas Avenue (Project No. 92-31). WHEREAS, the proposed improvement project is eligible for expenditure of the City's Municipal State Aid funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, that the City requests the Commissioner of Transportation authorization to appropriate the sum of $50,000 from its Municipal State Aid street fund to apply toward the construction of said Project No. 92-31.
