RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FOR THE
STATE HIGHWAY NO. 7 AND LOUSIANA AVENUE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of St. Louis Park has authorized and directed
the City Manager to negotiate with the owners of property for the purchase of
a temporary construction easement, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such negotiations, Arrowhead Co., Inc. has indicated
their desire to sell said easement for an amount of $13,160 for temporary
construction easement for highway purposes, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of St. Louis Park that
the City of St. Louis Park purchase the following described easement in
Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit:
Temporary construction easement to expire December 31, 1993 over:
That part of Lot 5, Lots 24 to 29, including the vacated
alley and vacated Monitor Street, Block 186, Rearrangement
of St. Louis Park, indicated on site plan with temporary
easement.
Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute any and all
instruments necessary to complete the purchase of said easement, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized and directed to pay $13,160 from the Special
Assessment Construction Fund (25-4470-385-70) to Arrowhead Co., Inc. upon
delivery of the easement document accompanied by an Abstract of Title or Owner's
Certificate of Title showing good and marketable title of record to said
easement, together with an opinion by the City Attorney of the City of St. Louis
Park, approving the transfer documents.
