HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-81 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1991/04/15RESOLUTION NO. 91-81 NEPOTISM POLICY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park wishes to prevent the possibility of favoritism when an applicant is selected for employment with the City, and WHEREAS, a written policy preventing work place favoritism represents good public policy as well as sound personnel administration; therefore, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the following policy be enacted: I. These provisions shall apply to applicants who are not employed in any capacity by the City and are seeking employment for any position with the City of St. Louis Park. II. The purpose of these provisions shall not be persons employed by the City of St. Louis Park date this Resolution is enacted from continued promotion or transfer. to prevent as of the employment, III. Applicants are disqualified from being appointed to any position in the City of St. Louis Park, whether regular or temporary if the applicant is related in column "A" (below) to any person holding a position listed in column (below).
