NEPOTISM POLICY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park wishes to
prevent the possibility of favoritism when an applicant is
selected for employment with the City, and
WHEREAS, a written policy preventing work place favoritism
represents good public policy as well as sound personnel
administration; therefore,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park that the following policy be enacted:
I. These provisions shall apply to applicants who are not
employed in any capacity by the City and are seeking
employment for any position with the City of St. Louis
Park.
II. The purpose of these provisions shall not be
persons employed by the City of St. Louis Park

IV. The City Manager, as the duly authorized appointed
authority, shall have the authority to execute this policy.
V. This policy shall become effective upon adoption.
