RESOLUTION NO. 91-200
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FOR
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 91-08 - EMERGENCY VEHICLE
PRE-EMPTION INSTALLATION ON THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEMS ON
TRUNK HIGHWAY 7 AT TEXAS AVENUE AND AT AQUILA AVENUE
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bid for Improvement Project
No. 91-08, bids were received, opened and tabulated by the Director of Public
Works on October 15, 1991. Said bids were as follows:
Bidder Bid Amount
Killmer Electric Company, Inc. $24,291.00
Egan -McKay Electrical Cont., Inc. 25,970.00
Ridgedale Electric, Inc. 29,602.00
WHEREAS, it appears Killmer Electric Company, Inc. of Maple Grove,
Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park, Minnesota that:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract in the amount of $24,291.00 with Killmer
Electric Company, Inc. of Maple Grove, Minnesota in the name of
the City of St. Louis Park, for Improvement Project No. 91-08
according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by
the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bid, except
that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
