RESOLUTION DEFINING "POLICE PERFORMANCE PAY"
AS A "SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFIT PAYMENT" ACCORDING TO THE
BYLAWS OF THE ST. LOUIS PARK POLICE RELIEF ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the St. Louis Park Police Relief Association had defined
top patrol officer wage as including "longevity or supplemental

Bylaws, and

consolidated under PERA's administration in 1990, and its Board
of Trustees can no longer amend its bylaws, and
WHEREAS, PERA has requested the City Council to clarify the
definition of performance pay; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park
that "police performance pay" as referenced in the labor
agreement shall be considered a "supplemental benefit payment"
for purposes of calculating retirement benefits under the St.
Louis Park Relief Association.
