HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-67 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1990/05/21RESOLUTION 90-67 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO THE LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 993 PERTAINING TO DRUG AND ALCOHOL THRESHOLD STANDARDS Whereas, the City and the International Association of Firefighters Local 993 had previously agreed to drug and alcohol threshold standards on February 5, 1990, and Whereas, subsequent to the City and Union's agreement, the Minnesota State Legislature adopted drug and alcohol threshold standards different from those agreed to by the City and Local 993, and Whereas, the City and Local 993 met and agreed to adopt the State threshold standards, Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park amends the drug and alcohol threshold standards of Article 29.8 of the Labor Agreement as follows: DRUG Amphetamines Barbituates Benzodiasepine Cannabis Cocaine Narcotics PCP Alcohol SCREENING TEST 1,000 ng/ml 300 ng/ml 300 ng/ml 100 ng/ml 300 ng/ml 300 ng/mg 25 ng/ml 0.04 urine Be it further resolved shall be effective from the contract. LOUIS PARK AND THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 993 The City of St. Louis Park and the Union hereby agree to amend certain terms and conditions of the 1990-1991 Labor Agreement adopted on February 7, 1990. These amendments are a result of actions taken by the Legislature of the State of Minnesota pertaining to drug and alcohol testing.
