TRAFFIC STUDY NO. 416: RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FIRE LANES AND
PROHIBITING PARKING ALONG ACCESS DRIVES SERVING
THE WESTWIND APARTMENTS (275 SHELARD PARKWAY) AND ITS PARKING LOTS
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, has caused a traffic
analysis to be made on certain private property within the City with respect
to fire lane designation, and
WHEREAS, the results as analyzed by the Engineering Department of the
City indicate that the following limitations on parking are required on the
hereinafter described areas in order that the travel of fire equipment may not
be interfered with and access to fire hydrants and buildings may not be
blocked off.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park as follows:
1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to install
traffic control signs establishing fire lanes along the access
drives serving the Westwind Apartments (275 Shelard Parkway) and
its parking lots.
