HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-12 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1990/02/05111 tip RESOLUTION 90-12 MICROFILMED RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 49 LABOR AGREEMENT AND ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE YEARS ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1990 AND DECEMBER 31, 1991 WHEREAS, It is the desire of both the City and the International Association of Operating Engineers Local No. 49 to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement for years 1990 and 1991, and WHEREAS, as authorized by Section 3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, the City Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota", and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and revised by the Council; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and the I.A.O.E. Local 49, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary structure for Maintenance I, Maintenance II, Maintenance III and Maintenance IV, as shown in the Position Classification and Salary Plan for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as follows: POSITION RANGE 1990 1991 *Maintenance I PW1 (1) 0-12 months $10.37 $10.78 (2) 13-24 months $11.66 $12.13 (3) 25+ months $12.96 $13.48 Maintenance II PW2 $13.20 $13.73 Maintenance III PW3 $13.50 $14.04 Maintenance IV PW4 $13.91 $14.47 *NOTE: Increases are not automatic and will depend on job performance and ability to learn and grow in the position. Requirements may vary with departmental needs. Resolution - Local 49 February 5, 1990 - pg. 2 41!!BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that The City will contribute up to $240.00 per month towards group health and life insurance including dependent coverage for calendar year 1990. The City will contribute the greater of $265.00 per month or an amount equal to the average City contribution for police and fire employees for group health and life insurance including dependent coverage for calendar year 1991.
