RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT,
ORDERING PROJECT NO. 89-13, APPROVING PROJECT
SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING RECEIPT OF BIDS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park has received a
report from the City Engineer related to the construction of an Emergency
Vehicle Pre-Emption System under Project No. 89-13.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park that:
1. The City Engineer's Report regarding proposed Project No. 89-13 is
hereby accepted.
2. Project No. 89-13 is hereby ordered.
3. Project specifications for Project No. 89-13, as prepared by the
City Engineer are approved and the City Clerk shall prepare and
cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and in the
Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of
the improvement under the approved specifications. The
advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify
the work to be done, and shall specify the date and time at which
bids will be opened by the City Clerk and City Manager in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall. No bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to
the clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
