RESOLUTION NO. 89-138
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THOMAS HOCKING'S SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS PARK
WHEREAS, Thomas Hocking has served the City of St. Louis Park as a police
officer for 20 years; and
WHEREAS, he has given a total of 33 years of his life to the police
profession, having served the Las Vegas Police Department and Hibbing Police
Department prior to his service to the City of St. Louis Park; and
WHEREAS, his experience and maturity in law enforcement work has helped to
guide many of the present members of the department to become excellent
officers themselves.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
St. Louis Park, on behalf of all of its fellow workers and residents, that
sincere appreciation is extended to Thomas Hocking for his able and dedicated
service to this community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City extends its best wishes to Tom for a
long and happy retirement.
