RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORATION
TO PROVIDE FOR NECESSARY
WATERMAIN AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
RELATED TO I-394 CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota
considers it to be in the best interests of the City of St. Louis Park that
certain watermain and sanitary sewer improvements be completed in conjunction
with the construction of that portion of I-394 from 0.3 mile east of CSAH 73 to
0.2 mile east of Boone Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park, Minnesota that the Director of Public Works be authorized and
directed to request the Minnesota Department of Transportation include
necessary watermain and sanitary sewer improvements be completed in conjunction
with the construction of that portion of I-394 from 0.3 mile east of CSAH 73 to
0.2 mile east of Boone Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works be authorized and
directed to confirm to the Minnesota Department of Transportation the City's
willingness to pay its appropriate share of the cost related to such work.
