RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO BTO DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
WHEREAS, civic involvement provides a foundation for effective local
government and contributes significantly to the community's betterment and well-
being; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Shelard Park community developed a plan for
improvement of the park in Shelard Park; and abutting property owners expressed a
strong interest that a tennis court be included as part of the improvement plan; and
WHEREAS, as a result of BTO Development Corporation's contribution and the
contributions of others, the City was able to include a tennis court in the final
park plans for Shelard Park; and
WHEREAS, as a result of these efforts and contributions, the City and the
community of Shelard Park will mutually benefit from such public involvement and
generous donations;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park that HTO Development Corporation is hereby recognized and sincerely
thanked for its $1,000.00 donation to the construction of the tennis court in Shelard
Park.
