HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-13 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1985/02/04RESOLUTION NO. 85-13 RESOLUTION GIVING APPROVAL FOR FINAL PLAT OF IRWIN MANDEL-NEIL BODERMAN ADDITION BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of St. Louis Park: Findings 1. The City of St. Louis Park, owner and subdivider of the land proposed to be platted as Irwin Mandel -Neil Boderman Addition have submitted an application for approval of final plat of said subdivision in the manner required for platting of land under the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, and all proceedings have been duly had thereunder. 2. The proposed final plat has been found to be in all respects consistent with the City Plan and the regulations and requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota and the ordinances of the City of St. Louis Park. 3. The proposed plat is situated upon. the following described lands in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 and those parts of Lots 1 and 6, Block 57A; Those parts of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 160; Those parts of Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, Block 161; Those parts of Lots 17, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38, Block 162; Lot 17 and that part of Lot 16, Block 164; Those parts of vacated Rex Avenue, vacated South Street, dedicated as Second Street, vacated Hurst Street and Hurst Street, now known as, Louisiana Avenue South; All in the recorded plat of Rearrangement of St. Louis Park, which lies within the following described property: Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 5,' in said Block 160; thence South 45 degrees 15 minutes 19 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the southwesterly line of said Lot 5, a distance of 395.00 feet to the point of beginning of the property being described; thence North 44 degrees 44 minutes 41 seconds East, a distance of 286.32 feet to an intersection with a line running from a point on the northerly line of said Lot 31, Block 162, distant 59.00 feet easterly from the northwest corner thereof, to a point on the northerly line of said Lot 33, Block 162, distant 66.00 feet easterly from its northwest corner, said point of intersection being the point of beginning of "Line All; thence South 20 degrees 45 minutes 47 seconds East, along said line so drawn, a distance of 82.93 feet to said point distant 66.00 feet easterly from the northwest corner of said Lot 33, Block 162; thence South 13 degrees 55 minutes 59 seconds East, a distance of 100.75 feet to a point on the northerly line of said Lot 35, Block 162, distant 61.00 feet easterly from its northwesterly corner; thence South 9 degrees 56 minutes 27 seconds East, a distance of 254.39 feet to a point on the southerly line of said Lot 17, Block 162, distant 81.00 feet easterly from its southwesterly corner; thence South 14 degrees 17 minutes 38 seconds East, a distance of 60.87 feet to a point in the northerly line of said Lot 16, Block 164, distant 21.00 feet easterly from its northwesterly corner; thence South 20 degrees 55 minutes 40 seconds East, a distance of 142.21 feet to a point in the southerly line of said Lot 16, distant 14.00 feet easterly from its southwesterly corner, being the point of termination of said "Line All; thence South 66 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, along the southeasterly lines of said Blocks 164 and 57A and their extensions, a distance of 398.13 feet to the point of beginning of "Line B"; thence North 24 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West, a distance of 218.00 feet; thence North 65 degrees 17 minutes 45 seconds West, a distance of 216.50 feet to an intersection with a line bearing South 44 degrees 44 minutes 41 seconds West from the point of beginning, said point being the point of termination of said "Line B"; thence North 44 degrees 44 minutes 41 seconds East, a distance of 403.60 feet to the point of beginning. Also the south 10 feet of the west 10 feet of that part of Lot 33, and the north 10 feet of the west 10 feet of that part of Lot 34, both in Block 162, lying easterly of "Line All above described. rnnrlucinn 1. The proposed final plat of the Irwin Mandel -Neil Soderman Addition is hereby approved and accepted by the City as being in accord and conformity with all ordinances, City plans and regulations of the City of St. Louis Park and the laws of the State of Minnesota, subject to the following condition: (a) That a document be drafted and recorded with the approved plat which accomplishes the dedication of cross -easements for access on both lots. provided, however, that this approval is made subject to Certification by the City Clerk as provided for in Section 14-303(3Xe) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to supply two certified copies of this Resolution to the above-named owner and subdivider, who is the applicant herein. 3. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute all contracts required herein, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to execute the certificate of approval on behalf of the City Council upon the said plat when all of the conditions set forth in Paragraph No. 1 above and Section 14-303(3Xe) of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code have been fulfilled. 4. Such execution of the certificate upon said plat by the City Clerk, as required under Section 14-303(3Xe), shall be conclusive showing of proper compliance therewith by the subdivider and City officials charged with duties above-described and shall entitle such plat to be placed on record forthwith without further formality.
