HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-201 - ADMIN Resolution - City Council - 1984/12/03RESOLUTION 84-201 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICE SALARIES INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS AND CLOTHING ALLOWANCE FQR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1985 WHEREAS, as authorized by Section3-301 of the St. Louis Park Ordinance Code, the City Council has established the "Position Classification Plan and Salary Administration Program for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota" and WHEREAS, Section 3-301 provides that as often as necessary, the Position Classification and Salary Plan shall be reviewed and revised by the City Council; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis park that the salary structure for Police Patrol Officer as shown in the Position Classifica- tion and Salary Plan for the City of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, be amended as follows: SALARY TABLE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1985 Range Steps A B C D E s art) (air (after (a-fer (air 6 mo) 12 mo) 24 mo) 36 mo) PO (Patrol Officer) Monthly $ 1692 1691 2091 2290 2489 Bi -weekly 781.07 872.97 964.87 1,056.76 1,148.65 PD (Inves- tigator) Monthly 1802 2001 2200 2399 2598 Bi -weekly 831.73 923.61 1,015.51 1,107.40 1,199.24 Employees assigned by the employer as School Liaison Officer will receive one hundred dollars ($100) per month or one hundred dollars ($100) pro -rated for less than a full month in 1985 in addition to the regular Patrol Officer wage. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective January 1, 1985 the City shall contribute a maximum of $140 per month from the funds of the City toward medical, life and dental benefits provided to Police Patrol Officers,permanent or probationary, by any insuring organization under contract with the City of St. Louis Park. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall pay to employees classified as Investigator or assigned as School Liaison Officer a clothing allowance of $225.00 per year for authorized uniform maintenance.
