RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF WARNING SIGNS,
SPEED SIGNS AND STOP SIGNS IN THE LAKE FOREST NEIGHBORHOOD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park that a traffic
analysis having indicated that traffic controls signs are warranted, the Director
of Public Works is hereby authorized to install the following signs:
1. Westbound from France Avenue to Highway 100 east frontage road:
a. speed signs of 25 mph at the northwest corner of Forest Road and
Glenhurst Road approximately 25 feet from the corner;
b. three-way stop signs at the "T" intersection of Forest Road and
Parklands Road;
c. advance curve signs with 10 mph at the north property line of 2320
Parklands Road - existing park sign in front of 2324 Parklands Road
to remain;
d. the existing directional arrow at the intersection of Parklands
Road and Cedarwood Road to be supplemented with a chevron sign;
e. advance winding road sign with 15 mph to be installed 35 feet +
west of 4606 Cedarwood Road; -
f. advance turn sign with 15 mph to be installed in front of 2348
Parkwoods Road approximately 25 feet ± south of the driveway;
g. an additional directional arrow (westbound) to be installed with
the existing eastbound dire-tional arrow.
2. Eastbound from Trunk Highway 100 east frontage road to France Avenue:
a. change existing advance curve sign to a turn sign with 15 mph on Parkwoods
Road approximately 100 feet east of the Trunk Highway 100 east frontage road;
b. install a speed sign of 25 mph adjacent to 2354 Parkwoods Road;
c. advance winding road sign with 15 mph to be installed in front of
2324 Parkwoods Road;
d. a chevron alignment sign to be installed on the northwest corner of Parkwoods
Road and South Hill Lane approximately 25 feet ± east of the corner;
e. advance curve sign with 10 mph to be installed on the south side of
Cedarwood Road adjacent to 4600 Cedarwood Road;

2. Eastbound from Trunk Highway 100 east frontage road to France Avenue:
f. supplement the existing directional arrow with chevron aliqnment
sign at the intersection of Cedarwood Road and Parklands Road.
