RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO ST. LOUIS PARK LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS, emergency rescue squads from time to time encounter victims of
emergency situations who have become trapped in motor vehicles,
WHEREAS, in such emergency situations the victims' well-being and survival
often depend upon a speedy extrication by rescue workers,
WHEREAS, use of the Viking Rescue Tool can greatly aid rescue workers and
reduce the time needed to extricate accident victims, sometimes providing
the margin of time necessary to save a victim's life; and
WHEREAS, the St. Louis Park Fire Department now has the availability
of the Viking Rescue Tool because of the generous support of community
organizations that financed the purchase of this life-saving tool,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St.
Louis Park hereby expresses its appreciation to
THE ST. LOUIS PARK LIONS
for its outstanding gift to the residents of the City of St. Louis Park.
