RESOLUTION NO. 73Q
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR CITY PARTICIPATION
IN PREMIUM PAYMENTS FOR DENTAL INSURANCE
FOR CERTAIN CITY EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make available to certain City
employees the benefits and advantages of group dental insurance
coverage; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized the City Manager
and Mayor to execute and renew from time to time a contract with
Delta Dental Plan of Minnesota for group dental insurance, for office,
technical and maintenance, and administrative, supervisory and manage-
ment personnel and for those positions covered by union contracts
which provide for group dental insurance;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Louis Park;
1. The City Manager and Mayor are authorized to execute and renew
on behalf of the City the contract with Delta Dental Plan of
Minnesota.
2. Effective with the January 1983 installment, the City shall pay
to Delta Dental Plan of Minnesota from the funds of the City a
maximum of $10.95 per month for dental coverage for employees
not covered by union contracts and the same for employees covered
by union contracts which provide for group dental insurance.
